    Thursday, August 20th, 7:00 pm

When it comes to Wellness it is not only important to prepare your body to handle stress through exercise, diet, etc, but it is also important to manage stress in your life.  We spend more time in our home than any other place, therefore it has the potential to be one of the greatest stressors in our lives.  We decided to invite Molly Boren of Simplicity Works to come in and work with you on some practical, simple steps you can take to de-stress your home.

aMOLLY BOREN and Simplicity Works will help you gain control over your home or office and use your space and time more efficiently.  The process will save you energy, stress, time, and money.
Molly returned to her native Midwest after a career in New York City’s publishing industry to begin curing crises of organization — everything from Living Room/Playroom Syndrome to I Think I’ve Misplaced My Filing Cabinet.
Her style is compassionate and empathetic, calm and energizing. She creates systems that require minimal buying and maximum ease, and understands that being organized doesn’t mean being boring!  It means being ready to leap into action.  Organizing projects are puzzles to solve, not overwhelming challenges, and she breaks each one down into manageable steps and then taps into your creativity to accomplish them with you.
Highlights of Simplicity Works’ range of services include:

    - Helping clients get back to a “clean slate” state by walking them through the decision-making process about what stays (the things they love or need) and what goes.  This includes time and information management as well as help with physical items.

    - Donating or recycling items that are no longer needed: this is a free service; shredding company referrals are available for sensitive papers

    - Developing systems for keeping the order the client wins back.  These systems are:

+ Maintainable: I work collaboratively with clients so that our strategies are intuitive to them

+ Sustainable: I am a founding member of the Chicago Sustainable Business Alliance

    - An accepting, confidential attitude focused on problem-solving and bringing more energy to clients’ lives and spaces

a- Flexible strategies: clients decide whether to work only with the organizer or to stretch their investment by completing tasks on their own after or between organizing sessions.

Molly is the Membership Director of the Chicago chapter of the National Association of Professional Organizers and is a founding member of the Chicago Sustainable Business Alliance.  She has been certified by the Board of Certification for Professional Organizers (yes, there is such a thing!).
